Hi, I saw your CrossFit Journal video a few days ago and I was wondering if you’d be willing to let me pick your brain about how you got involved with running CrossFit classes at a globo gym. I’ve been crossfitting since 2008 and have been wanting to start my own box in my garage for quite a while now, but I recently found out that my township doesn’t allow home businesses in which people are coming and going regularly. After having a brainstorming session with family, someone suggested approaching local gyms to see if they would be interested in offering CrossFit classes. Shortly after that suggestion, I saw your video. It was very inspirational. It reassured me that the idea can actually work! Anyway, I’d be very appreciative if I could ask you a few questions. I’m in the same boat as Alex. Would like more information how you work with the affiliation side within the globo gym. In my case I was approached by our YMCA to conduct some CF Kids courses. I just received my CF L1 Cert and will go to the CF Kids Cert in Dallas in June.
If you could please email me on how you came about working at the fitness center, that would be great.
Currently I teach PE K-8 and would like to coach CF on the side…
